Winter Break Camps at the Museum of Aviation    

February 15th – 19th, 2010    9:00 am until 12:00 noon

$100 for five days of hands-on activities at the Museum of Aviation  

Have Fun with Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics!!!  

Grades PreK – 2nd                                    Candy Camp                                           

What can be more fun than sorting, charting, classifying, adding and subtracting with CANDY!?!?  Each day students will do math and science activities with their favorite treats.    This is a favorite experiment-with-it, then eat-it camp!  

Grades 3rd – 5th                                          Wright to Buzz

Travel along the aviation timeline while experimenting with forces of flight and aviation inventions throughout the last century.    Each day students will learn about famous people in aviation history and make their own flying machines.    

Grades 6th – 12th                                        Air Traffic Control

Step into the Air Traffic Control Simulation Center and manage arrivals and departures like a pro.   Students will learn about airplanes, communication skills and the career of an air traffic controller.
