Come join us at the Perry-Houston County Airport on Saturday, November 1st for our Annual Open House. Doors Open at 9:00am and Close at 5:00pm and the cost is free to the public. We are honored to have in attendance the Colling's Foundation with their WWII Bombers, the B-17 Fortress & B-24 Liberator and the P-51 Mustang, which was highlighted in the movie Red Tails. Step back in time as you board these rare, vintage aircraft, of which there are only a handful left and get a sense of what it must have been like for the brave men that risked their lives to keep this country free. Come and celebrate the WWII vets by supporting the Colling's Foundation and their effort to bring history to life! For more fun, there will be tethered Hot Air Balloon Rides with Balloonacy, Rides on Oliver's Flying Circus New Standard Bi-plane, The EAA Young Eagles Program will provide flights for children 8-16 years (Great for the Boy Scout's Aviation Merit Badge), The Museum of Aviation will have an F-15 simulator, The Friends of Army Aviation-Ozark will be giving helicopter rides on their UH-1 and AH-1 Cobra and of course plenty of activities for kids. Also on display will be The Middle Georgia Corvette Club, The Civil Air Patrol, The Georgia State Patrol with one of their helicopters, A Tactical Air Traffic Control Tower and some unique WWII Vehicles! Admission is free. There will be plenty of food and fun for the whole family. Stay late and watch a movie under the stars.
