Museum of Aviation spring golf tournament will celebrate the life and accomplishments of its chief benefactor, the late Brig. Gen. Rober L. Scott Jr. The 7th Annual event at Barrington Hall Golf Club in Macon Has always featured the World War II flying ace. This year the tournament will be called the Brig. Gen. Robert L. Scott Memorial Golf Tournament with many of the prizes being Scott lithographs and models of the P-40 the general used to shoot down 22 Japanese aircraft. The four-person scramble will be April 21 with tee times at 8:00 am and 1:30 pm. Individual tournament fees are $98.00 with hole sponsorships at $350.00 and tournament sponsorships at $2500.00. All proceeds go the Museum of Aviation. Tournament participation includes a noon luncheon and an evening awards ceremony and buffet. Guests may participate in the lunch for $7.00 and in the evening buffet for $20.00 Registration is through the Museum of Aviation at 478-923-6600.
