There will be a Multi-County Democratic Rally at Fountain Park on Kimberly Rd., in Warner Robins, on Saturday, April 1, 2006 from 10:00 am-3:00 pm. Candidates for State Constitutional offices as well as candidates for local Legislative seats have been invited to participate. Among those scheduled to appear are Jim Marshall, 3rd District Congressman; Lt. Gov. Mark Taylor; Att. General Thurbert Baker; Sec. of Labor, Michael Thurmond; and Sec. of Agriculture, Tommy Irvin. Local candidates- Dee Yearty, candidate for Senate District 20; Scott Taylor, candidate for House District 146; and Lauren Benedict, candidate for House District 140.
