The public is invited to attend a free program and to visit exhibits focusing on the family and risk factors of suicide. The event is hosted by the Suicide Prevention Coalition of Central Ga. Its mission is to provide education, resources, and support for individuals at risk of suicide, survivors of suicide, and their families. Program topics will include statistics in our area, signs of suicide and depression, and ways to help. Those personally touched by Survivors will also share their stories. Exhibitors will provide resources to help families cope with depression and suicidal ideation. This coalition is a partnership between several organizations in Houston, Peach and Crawford Counties.
