The 2009 Leadership Warner Robins Class Will Host a Yard Sale for Camp Wings- A program of Heart of Georgia Hospice The Warner Robins Area Chamber of Commerce's 2009 Leadership Warner Robins Class will be gathering donations from the community to host a yard sale fundraiser for Camp Wings- a fall camp hosted by Heart of Georgia Hospice. The yard sale will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. - 12 noon in the Chamber parking lot ( 1228 Watson Blvd ). This yard sale is one of many fundraisers the Leadership WR class will undertake this year. The class will be accepting items such as small furniture pieces, clothing in fair condition, electronics, trinkets and other treasures. Heart of Georgia Hospice Inc. offers Camp Wings, a bereavement camp, to children ages 6-16 who have lost a loved one. This camp is designed to help children understand that they are not alone, and that their feelings of grief and loss are normal, with the help of a safe and supportive environment in which to express their feelings. This year's program is scheduled to be held from November 6-8, 2009 at Camp Martha Johnston in Lizella , GA. The funds collected during the yard sale will help fund Camp Wings ' operation costs as well as aide in the purchase of food and other items for the duration of the camp weekend. The mission of the 2009 Leadership WR class is to help Heart of Georgia Hospice meet these needs.
