The Houston County Start! Heart Walk is a great way to help fund and support the life-saving mission of the American Heart Association. The walk promotes physical activity and heart-healthy living. The Heart Walk is the largest national fundraising and awareness-raising event of the American Heart Association. It focuses attention on exercise as an important part of a heart-healthy lifestyle. Funds raised will go towards life-saving research to help in the fight against our nation's number one and number three killers, cardiovascular disease and stroke.
