In recognition of February as Heart Month, Houston Healthcare will be offering heart screenings Thursday, February 23rd from 6 - 9 pm in the Northwest Tower at Houston Medical Center. A seminar on heart health, presented by Dr. Gohar Saeed, Cardiologist, will start at 7 pm in the Lower Lobby of the Northwest Tower. Screenings include blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol (fasting preferred) and are free of charge. EKG and ABI (Ankle Brachial Index) screenings are offered for $25, and a Cardiologist will be available to review the results and discuss follow-up options. Pre-registration is not required.
