The FVSU Zeta Pi Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho cordially invite you to participate in the Hattie McDaniel Cancer Awareness Walk/Run on Saturday, March 8, 2008 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.  The event will take place on the FVSU Quadrangle (Founders, Bishop and Bywaters’ area). In case of inclement weather, the walk will occur in the HPE Complex.
The purpose of the event is to promote cancer awareness and to honor Soror Hattie McDaniel and other victims/survivors of cancer. The goal is raise $500 for the American Cancer Society.

The university and surrounding communities are encouraged to participate.
  
Donations can be made to any undergraduate member.
