The "GI's On Wheels" Restored Military Vehicle show will return to the Museum of Aviation May 13-14 in conjunction with the Robins Air Force Base Air Show. A large collection of vintage jeeps, trucks, armored vehicles, motorcycles, trailers and "HumVees" will be on display at the Museum next to Robins Air force Base as members of the Greater Georgia Military Vehicles Association converge on the Museum for a two-day show. Shuttle busses will be available to take spectators to and from both shows. Restored military vehicles from all over the state of Georgia will line up next to the Museum's vintage WWII aircraft and "don't be surprised if a tank rolls in," says show organizer Chuck Herbert. The day will also feature military vendors and military vehicles from Robins Air Force Base. The display will be open to the public from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Display competition vehicles will pay $10 but spectators will be admitted free. Awards will be given for a dozen different categories of military vehicles.
