Come out to the Museum of Aviation on Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. for our first annual Fall Fun Day. Kick off fall by joining us for a day of fun for the whole family. The Fall Fun Day will include a number of fun activities for all ages including hay rides, horse rides, face painting and tattoos, cake walk, music and much more. A costume contest for children ages 1-9 will be held at 2:00 p.m. A corn-hole tournament will take place at 11:00 a.m. Sign up for the corn-hole tournament starts at 10:00 a.m. Bring your own already carved pumpkin for submission in our pumpkin carving contest or purchase a pumpkin and carve at the museum. Chick Fil A will be available for lunch. Come visit Menchie from Menchies Frozen Yogurt and get your free yogurt coupon. GPS COORDINATES : N 32° 35’ 24.0” W 83° 35’ 18.9” The Museum of Aviation is located only seven miles east of I-75, near Robins Air Force Base. From I-75: Take Exit 144 heading east on Russell Parkway through Warner Robins. Drive 9 miles until the end of Russell Parkway and exit before reaching Robins Air Force Base onto GA Hwy 247. Turn right and go south for less than a mile. The Museum is on the left. From I-16: Take Exit 27 (SR358). Go west to Hwy 96. Turn left (west) on GA Hwy 96 to GA Hwy 247. Turn right (north) on GA Hwy 247. Go approximately 3 miles. The Museum of Aviation is on the right.
