This unique Farm to Table eventfeatures a 5-course gourmet menu prepared by our Celebrity Chef, Megan Wilson-Brent of the Perfect Pear in Perry, GA. The menu will highlight local central GA farmers and growers. Wine pairings will be provided by Cane River Vineyards, Byron, GA. The funds will go to renovate the historic Pecan Orchard that will provide both revenue and a life-skill education curriculum for the 45 youth that reside on campus. In 1895, Rev. Mumford, the founder of the GA Industrial Children's Home, devoted his life to nurturing both the land and our youth. He established a working farm to teach life skills so that when youth left his care, they would have vocational skills to provide for themselves. Please help us keep Rev. Mumford's dream alive.
