Hello- We would like to invite all of you in the Macon/Warner Robins AFB , Georgia area to the most comprehensive Community and Military Hiring and Resource Expo in the region. It is the SolidHires Community & Military/Military Spouse Hiring and Resource Expo and it takes place May 9th from 10am-2pm in Warner Robins at the American Legion Post 172 located at 1382 Radio Loop. We are expecting over 400 combined veterans and their spouses, transitioning college students along with another 100-200 from the general public to attend this event. Your organization is one that we chose due to you offering services or type of employment our career seekers have asked to see in attendance. This SolidHires event is a one-day event for veterans, their spouses, graduating students and the general public where a variety of services including legal services, federal and state appropriate services, local provider services, counseling, information on VA benefits, veterans services organizations, fitness awareness, educational counseling, housing counseling, job resource fair, resume writing and many more all in one place for this unique event. In addition there will be multiple business management and social media seminars for both job seekers and EMPLOYERS. We kick it off with a great rendition of the National Anthem and a presentation of the colors by a color guard from a local unit. SolidHires is doing its part to help break the cycle of unemployment and homelessness among our local veteran population by ensuring that supportive services and employers are provided at the event.
