PRINNIE MACK TO HOST COFFEE EXPO - TO BENEFIT HODAC. Prinnie Mack is known for seving delicious specialty coffees such as latte's and respberry truffle frozen coffee as well as sandwiches, cookies, and other edibles. On Saturday, July 21st, the same delicious coffees will be on sale but they will be benefiting a local Warner Robins commuunity and human service organization, Hodac. Located at 2762 Watson Blvd., Hodac has been serving the Warner Robins community for over 35 years, extending a helping hand to make a difference in the lives they touch in Georgia, through education, advocacy, prevention, and intervention. Available for purchase will be lunch (hotdogs and hamburgs), participation in a hands-on make-your-own espresso coffee drink, hands-on milk frothing, and latte art instruction. There will also be an art uction in conjunction with the event. Art will be on display and bids will be accepted starting July 9th. There will be an SCAA (Specialty Coffee Association of America) certified coffee educator on hand at 10:00 am. to demonstrate cupping so everyone can learn how the real coffee experts judge a good cup of coffee. There will also be a segmant on roasting techniques. An informational display on the uses of used coffee grounds as mulch, fertililzer, or compost activator will also be on exhibit. A raffle has been set up for a coffee gift box that contains a grinder and a French press among lots of other coffee related gifts. Tickets for the raffle are $5.00.
