Subject: Thanksgiving Community Dinner Help Needed
Good morning! Thanksgiving is a great time to share your blessings with someone that is less fortunate than you. For some years now, a Thanksgiving dinner has been provided for the homeless and other less fortunate people of our community. Last year we served 1,100. This year we are projected to feed 2,000. This ministry will be provided on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 25th 2010 from 12:00 till 2:00 p.m. and will take place at the Old Houston Mall on 233 North Houston Road, Warner Robins Ga. 31093.
We need the following items provided • Cooked Turkeys • Cooked Hams • Large Pans of Dressing in aluminum foil pans • Cranberry Sauce • Green beans • Corn • Pre-sliced Cakes and Pies Plastic silverware as well as paper towels are also needed
Above items can be delivered to the Old Houston Mall beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday November 25th 2010. There will be people there to help you unload the items if needed. These items will however need to be delivered by 10:00a.m. Volunteers are needed for the following tasks: Meat slicers to carve the turkeys, Servers, cleanup crews, greeters, maintenance workers to keep the trash cans emptied, delivering food from warmers to serving tables, clearing and cleaning tables.
If you volunteer, you will need to be at the Old Houston Mall by 10:00a.m. Meat slicers will need to be present at9:00 a.m. Once you have arrived there will be people to direct you to your stations for services. Please provide a list of volunteers and what your organization plans to bring. If you can supply these items, please ensure that you names are on them.
