Through the doors of the Houston County YMCA, Children are exposed to a variety of fun and rewarding experiences that help them develop valuable skills while gaining confidence and self-esteem. At the "Y", one of the most important goals is to enrich the lives of kids in our community - your community. So that no one is denied a chance to participate, WE NEED YOUR HELP! In 2006 and 2007, over $73,000 in financial aid was awarded to families in Houston County. Membership and program fees at the Houston County YMCA does not cover all the costs to support these vital community programs. Therefore, we are launching our annual fundraising campaign on September 23rd! Financial assistance is based on ability to pay. It is the policy of the Houston County YMCA that no person be denied membership or program participation by reason of inability to pay fees. Your help can go a long way at the YMCA!
