Pigs and Wings is a fun filled BBQ competition and Fly -In sponsored by the Georgia Barbecue Association, held at the Perry-Houston County Airport (Exit 138 off I-75) This is a family event and open to all Barbecue and Aviation Enthusiasts alike! The festivities kick off Friday evening while the teams set up and prepare for a long night of cooking. Teams from all over compete in the following categories: Brunswick stew, Pork Loin, Pulled Pork, Ribs and more. If you're the type that constantly brags about your BBQ - then Mister (and Missy) this is the competition for you. It's time to put your spatula where your mouth is!! Come and join the teams (space is limited) as they bring some of the most elaborate stations with all their secret ingredients and vie for the $12,000 worth of cash prizes. Aviation competitions will be held on Saturday with Trophies going to all the winners! Entertainment and a variety of vendors will be on hand to liven up the weekend.
