Event Description:
This event is a community event open to everyone including military spouses with home-based businesses, squadron Booster Clubs, small business owners, arts and craftspeople, etc. can come together for a fun and exciting opportunity that benefits all involved.
There will be cake walks, pony rides, raffle, inflatable slides for everyone (including water slides), ball pit and train rides (for the younger crowd).
Operation Homefront Georgia is a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing morale and emergency assistance to military families and wounded warriors. To learn more about Operation Homefront Georgia, please check out our website: http://www.operationhomefront.net/georgia/
The Bazaar is open to members of the community and will be held in the pecan orchard at Southside Baptist Church on September 18th from 8am to 2pm. This event is not affiliated with the church, though they were nice enough to donate the space.
We are encouraging area businesses to participate in a variety of ways. One big way that a business can get involved is to set up a vendor booth. There will be an Arts and Crafts and Vendor area and any area small businesses interested in having a booth are encouraged to do so! The price is sure right at $25 per 10X10 space, or a donation of an item from the booth valued at $25 which will be raffled off at the Bazaar with funds raised going to Operation Homefront Georgia.
The raffle is another way that area businesses can get involved with the Bazaar. Donations of gift certificates for products or services would be a wonderful additional way to promote your business as well as help a worthy cause. All items donated to the raffle will be raffled off at the Bazaar with all proceeds benefiting Operation Homefront Georgia.
Another way area businesses can get involved is to make a tax-deductable donation to Operation Homefront Georgia for this Bazaar and those donating will be featured on our marketing and advertising materials as well as the website and OHG Newsletter. Donations of $100 or more will be in the Red, White and Blue category of sponsorship and their company name will be featured as such on a banner that will be on display at the event. This donation includes those donating an item for the raffle if the value of the item is $100 or more. All donations will be acknowledged and don't forget that all donations are tax-deductable. I'll be happy to provide the tax-deduction paperwork in person.
Please email Joy Ashley if your business is interested in participating in this event.
